Ayurveda questions, answered

What to expect from online Ayurveda with Dr Amit Gupta, MD.

What is Ayurveda?

India’s traditional system of health, more than 3,000 years old. It sees each person as having a unique constitution and uses food, daily routine, herbs and lifestyle to keep that constitution in balance.

Do I need to come in person?

No. Every session is by secure video, so you can join from home anywhere in Greater Houston or beyond.

Does Ayurveda replace my doctor?

No. Our guidance is educational and lifestyle-based and works alongside your physician’s care. Keep taking prescribed medications, and tell your doctor about any changes.

What happens in the first session?

We ask about your digestion, sleep, energy, diet, routine and health history to assess your constitution (dosha) and current imbalance, then outline your plan.

How soon will I notice a difference?

It depends on how consistently you follow the plan. Changes in digestion and sleep are usually the first things clients notice, and we review progress together.

Do you recommend herbs?

Mostly culinary herbs and spices you can buy at the grocery store. Any supplement suggestion comes with a check for interactions with your medications.

Which areas do you serve?

The Woodlands, Houston, Kingwood, Spring, Conroe, Humble, Atascocita, Cypress, Tomball, Katy and Sugar Land, and anywhere by video.

What is the CureNatural app?

Our companion app: take the dosha quiz, get a core constitution plan and follow your daily routine.
